09.03.23—20:00    KASK lecture: Linda van Deursen Campus Bijloke - Cirque lecture

Linda van Deursen is one of the driving forces behind Mevis & van Deursen, the studio she founded in 1987 with Armand Mevis. With their agency, she worked with artists such as Gabriel Orozco and Rineke Dijkstra and for several major cultural institutions such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, documenta and the Venice Biennale.

Van Deursen was head lecturer in graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam until 2015, since 2003 she has been senior critic at the Yale School of Art in New Haven (USA) and since 2017 she has been teaching at the Royal Academy in The Hague on the master's degree in Non-Linear Narrative.

This lecture is also part of the Voor & Door series in co-operation with the graphic design programme.
