Exhibitions
KIOSK
Space for contemporary visual arts. There are three exhibitions a year that are complemented by smaller presentations, performances and a digital offer. KIOSK questions the position of the contemporary arts institution through critical and transparent operation.
Since 2010, KIOSK has been developing an idiosyncratic program at Bijloke Campus in which the artist is central. Within the special architectural framework of the exhibition space, the former anatomical theater of the Clinical and Outpatient Institute, KIOSK shows the work of both emerging and established names. The projects are created in dialogue with the artists and are always the result of a longer development process. The focus is on new productions, which may or may not be complemented by existing works. KIOSK fulfills a signal function by having an eye for experimentation, for cultural and artistic diversity. It keeps its finger on the pulse of the evolutions within art and society. From January 2021 KIOSK will expand its activities online and the website will also become a platform for online art projects.
