In the 18th century, Dublin was one of the British isles' most important cities, with a musical life that was barely outranked by London. Even more importantly, in Georgian Éire, the city blossomed into one of the five largest cities in Europe. Certainly worth a visit! In The Dubhlinn Gardens, tenor Reinoud Van Mechelen and flautist Anna Besson carry you along in their time machine and set you down in a relaxed evening in the midst of 18th-century, upper-class Dublin.
