New instrument teachers for piano and violin in classical music programme (30.05.18)

The coming academic year sees several new faces joining the classical music staff:

Violinists Lisa Jacobs and Wibert Aerts will be joining the team of Alessandro Moccia and Olga Zolotareva.

At the age of 17, Lisa Jacobs made her debut as a violinist in the Royal Concertgebouworchestra. She studied with Joyce Tan and Ilya Grubert in Amsterdam.

Wibert Aerts is one of the most versatile Belgian violinists. He has made a name for himself in the modern and contemporary violin repertoire. He studied with André Delcourte, Philippe Hirshhorn, Koji Toyoda and Igor Oistrakh.

Olga Pashchenko will be teaching piano, piano forte and harpsichord. She is one of the most compelling pianists of her generation due to her fabulous technique and passionate piano play.

If you would like to register as a student with one of these teachers, in a bachelor's or master's programme, you can contact learning track coach Karen Van Petegem.
