Dave Goulson, aka “The Bumblebee Professor”, is a British biologist, writer and living legend. He fights for the protection of insects and bees and their habitat, and sees it as his mission to make the world aware of their importance – because without insects, there would be no ecosystems!

And guess what: GMF and partners HOGENT, Velt Gent, Natuurpunt Gent and Rewild the City are bringing this hero to Ghent! He will be here to tell us how we can welcome insects into our gardens and how we can adapt our cities to become refuges for bees, butterflies and other insects.
