As part of Bijloke Wonderland, KIOSK presents A Choreography for Dots, an interactive installation by Peter Van Hecke.

In the kiosk in Citadel Park, an installation is brought to life through the participation of visitors. Moving spinning tops influence a magnetic field and generate signals that, together with the amplified contact sounds of the drawing tops, form the basis of a live musical performance.

The two musicians Ellen Preuss and Alexander Gavilán are situated in the Hoorgang at the Bijloke site, where they improvise in response to this ongoing choreography of movement and sound. Drawing inspiration from the history of the kiosk and its surroundings, their performance blends influences from jazz and flamenco.

The installation consists of two interconnected parts. In the kiosk in Citadel Park, visitors can actively participate and contribute to the composition through play. At the same time, in the passageway at the Bijloke site, audiences can watch and listen to the live performance, in which the signals and sounds generated in the kiosk are translated into music.

Of Love and Fresh Water is a photographic project by Clair Bravo that takes the form of a series of silk prints and a book, tracing journeys through queer rural communities in France. Through fragments of life during the summer months, the series engages with belonging, visibility, intimacy, and the possibility of building community in places often perceived as conservative or heteronormative.

In a suspended time shaped by warm days, collective life, and kinship, new possibilities emerge for subverting norms and imagining ways of existing together.

In How to Create a New Sport, Noor Flamey develops a new sport through image, movement, sound and core analysis. By reclaiming space, sound and visual symbolism, she creates a new bodily score in collaboration with makers from graphic and spatial design, music production, theatre and videography.
