31.05.25 – 02.06.25, Sewing marathon, fashion students

The students of the fashion programme at KASK & Conservatorium are organising a 48-hour sewing marathon in the studio space of ChopinChopin in Ghent from Saturday 31 May to Monday 2 June. With this creative and intensive action, the students want to generate extra attention for their annual fashion show.

The initiative comes entirely from the students themselves, who put their heart and soul into putting the fashion show on the map as an unmissable fashion event. For 48 hours, they work continuously, aiming to offer the public a unique behind-the-scenes look at the creation process.

During the day, live DJs will provide a lively atmosphere and the entire sewing marathon will be broadcast via a livestream. This will allow sympathisers and fashion lovers to follow the process live. On-site visitors can soak up the atmosphere at ChopinChopin's bar, enjoy music and cheer on the students.

During the event, visitors and viewers are encouraged to buy tickets for the fashion show on Saturday 21 June at the Floraliënhal in Ghent. The ticket not only gives access to the show, but also to the exhibition and after-party.
