Artistic researcher Ives Maes will present his new book Ives Maes & David Campany in Conversation at the Kunstenbibliotheek on 08.05.25. Campany will be present online for a discussion moderated by Isabel Van Bos. The discussion will be followed by a reception in the Kunstenbibliotheek.
Three recently completed book projects inspire an evening of reflection. Disobedient Bodies, Thinking and Acting beyond Anthropocentrism marks the first public moment for two newly formed research clusters at KASK & Conservatorium: The Body Plural and Disobedient Practices.
Members of both clusters will present their work in Kunsthal Gent. The event will consist of a small exhibition, informal presentations and an in-depth conversation about the areas where the books and the research clusters overlap.
