Open call: A school called tribe 2026

A School Called Tribe (ASCT) is a musical movement with a line-up that changes every year. Rappers and producers join forces with musicians from KASK & Conservatorium in a creative process aimed at producing a slightly unpredictable blend of jazz, hip-hop and slam poetry. During various rehearsals, cyphers and recording sessions, coaches Fatih Devos, Lander Gyselinck and Erik Bogaerts will work with the musical and lyrical flavours of all those involved. The artistic result is titled A School Called Tribe and will be presented to the general public on 15 December at De Koer.

Are you a rapper, producer or slam poet? Then you can take part for free. Ten rehearsals are scheduled at De Koer on: On 15 December 2026, we’ll be organising a joint performance.
