08.05.24, 20:30, Mamma Mia! (2008)

Make it a manic Mother's Day this year with the holy grail among millennial musicals: Mamma Mia. This ABBA-breathing masterpiece takes you through the catalogue of everyone's favourite Eurovision creation, as well as the turbulent love life of Donna Sheridan, played by Meryl Streep. Daughter Sophie wants to find out the mystery of who her actual father is on the eve of her wedding. As the guests arrive on a Greek island, she sets out to investigate, tracking through motherlove's romantic adventures thanks to a series of unbearably catchy sing-alongs. However, with the holy trinity among middle-man candy (Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan and Stellan Skarsgård) as suspects, this is no easy task.

Don't go wasting your emotions and head towards our cinema for an evening of earworms to say gimme gimme gimme gimme to. With a bunch of Hollywood's dancing queens under the same roof and the Mediterranean sun flirting with the camera, Mamma Mia is a Waterlooo-worthy cinematic triumph. Super trouper rays of light may blind you, but take a chance on us and say i do, i do, i do, i do, i do for an evening of song and dance ecstasy.
