04.06.25, 16:00, Michael Sandford, And now I think about you all day long

On Wednesday 4th June Michael Sandford’s And now I think about you all day long will be presented at Cirque, curated by Jean Watt. The site-sensitive video installation will stream a live broadcast of the sky from a camera buoy positioned in the South Pacific Ocean, East of New Zealand, at the antipodal point of Ghent. From 16:00–22:00, we invite you to look through the Earth and out the other side, gazing upon the stars below your feet and watching the sky shift in colour as it edges towards the sunrise.

Michael Sandford (b.1998) is an interdisciplinary artist from Melbourne, now based in London. His practice utilises drawing, filmmaking, and public intervention to produce formal relationships that exploit the hallucinatory consequences of contemporary cross-contaminations of virtual and physical realities.

Jean Watt (b.1998) is a curator and writer based between Ghent and London, currently completing the curatorial studies programme at KASK & Conservatorium. Her curatorial practice prioritises site-sensitive research and interventions through the nomadic exhibition project A Place to Rest.
