New curriculum for the music programme
Your artistic voice, your trajectory
Do you want to develop into an authentic, creative and versatile musician? Our music programme focuses on your artistic personality. You choose your own path, deepen your talent and broaden your horizons — within a programme that is as flexible as it is challenging.
You are at the centre
Here, everything starts with you: your artistic questions, your ambitions, your style. You build a portfolio that shows your growth: with reflections, inspiration, projects and plans. You are guided in developing your own voice and learn to make goal-oriented choices that fit who you are and where you want to go.
Flexibility: deepen or broaden
Thanks to our structure with minors and specialisations, you can set your own priorities in your programme, each year from Bachelor 2 to Master 2. Choose to deepen your knowledge in your field or broaden your horizons with other music practices or even other art disciplines.
Creativity at the core
Creativity is more than improvisation or imagination — it is also critical reflection, research, curation and entrepreneurship. You learn to place yourself and your work in context, and to develop as an artist who gives meaning to their own practice.
Learning by doing
Four times a year, you step out of your regular classes for a project week. You work intensively together, often in new combinations. From orchestra weeks and masterclasses to co-creations, thematic and interdisciplinary projects — each time you work on artistic resilience, collaboration and innovation.
Across the boundaries of genres and disciplines
Our programme transcends boundaries. You will work together with students from other styles, other disciplines, other art forms. Because music thrives on encounters, cross-pollination and unexpected combinations. And you will build an artistic network that will inspire you throughout your life.
Ready for a dynamic future
The field is constantly changing — and you grow with it. You learn to think in terms of portfolios: combining artistic projects, teaching, creating, collaborating, innovating. This prepares you for a versatile, sustainable career as a professional in music.
