We see the famous wooden cyborg as a contemporary figure trying to grow up in an abundance of choice. Despite this limitlessness, he finds no fulfilment anywhere. Outside the reality of the unwieldy body in which he drags himself along, everything seems fluid or ephemeral. And even his own body cannot be contained.

Pinocchio is a seemingly light performance about physicality, pleasure-seeking and dying.
