Winning The Voice at the age of 13 is rarely a harbinger of a glittering career, but Giorgi Gigashvili proves otherwise here. Not content with the short-lived pop success, Giorgi began his studies at the Paliashvili Central Music School for Gifted Children and completed them with overwhelming success. Since then, he has been stringing together international awards and became one of classical music’s most promising rising stars. His debut album ‘Meeting My Shadow’ immediately demonstrated the impressive palette of colours the man possesses; from Scarlatti to Beethoven, from Scriabin to Messiaen, all in one flowing movement. In this concert, too, you can enjoy the man’s full talent, starting, again, with Scarlatti and ending with Prokofiev; he does them all justice.
