Anyone who saw Jiaxin Min perform during the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition in the spring of 2025 knows that she possesses enormous virtuosity and flawless technique. She developed these skills at the Juilliard School in New York with teachers Sergei Babayan and Matti Raekallio and at the Royal College of Music in London with Dmitri Alexeev and Vitaly Pisarenko.
Jiaxin Min's talent became apparent at a very early age. She had only just started playing the piano when she won her first prizes in local music competitions. In 2004, at the age of eight, she was named one of Shanghai's ‘Top 10 Young Talents’. In later years, she continued to win prizes, culminating in her participation in the Queen Elisabeth Competition, where she was named one of the laureates.
