04.02.25, 20:00, Julius Asal, Scriabin, Scarlatti & Brahms

Scriabin and Scarlatti, a match made in heaven, nobody ever thought. Enter: Julius Asal!

Asal released his debut album Scriabin – Scarlatti in the spring of this year and immediately made a name for himself. By carefully selecting the pieces, he creates a very pleasant bridge between two very different periods and two very different composers.

On the album, he uses two different Steinway grand pianos to contrast rich, dark timbres with a bright, crisp sound. Live, you will have to make do with one piano, but not to worry: to make up for any perceived aural loss, Asal adds Brahms’ Third Piano Sonata at no extra cost. Did we mention that Asal is an extremely talented pianist?
