Every year, the singing and instrument students of KASK & Conservatorium stage a musical theatrical work. With Orphée et Eurydice the lights are dimmed a little more than usual. A trip to hell and back? If only that ends well. After all, wasn’t widower Orpheus torn apart by mad bacchants after his failed subterranean mission? Well no, at least not in Christoph Willibald Gluck’s Baroque opera. In the end, Love takes care of everything. No handkerchiefs needed.
