Andreas studied at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. He graduated with a master’s degree in tuba, with the highest distinction, Maxima Cum Laude. 

Since 2021, Andreas has been a member of the Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides. Within this prestigious ensemble, he performs as a soloist and regularly takes part in a wide range of chamber music projects. With the Guides, he has contributed to several CD recordings and performed in leading concert halls around the world. 

Andreas is very active as a freelance musician and a welcome guest with various leading orchestras, including: Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest (NL), Orchestra of La Monnaie/de Munt, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra, Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy (NL), Band of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (NL), Belgian Brass, … In these projects, he has performed under the baton of various world-renowned conductors. 

After winning an audition, Andreas became a permanent member of the prestigious European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) in 2021, with which he toured Europe. Within the brassband- culture, Andreas is also active as a B-tuba player in the acclaimed bass section of Brassband Willebroek. During this period, the band won several national and international titles. 

Since 2025, Andreas has represented famous instrument brands: Melton Meinl Weston & Besson. As an artist for these brands, he regularly gives workshops and masterclasses.
