Bert Lesaffer (°1983) studied clinical psychology (UGent), with a focus on psychoanalysis, and film studies & visual culture (UA). He worked at MEDIA Desk Flanders and Flanders Audiovisual Fund, and was KASKcinema's programmer and communication manager for seven years. In 2014, he co-founded production company and animation studio Animal Tank, where he is creative producer and screenwriter. He currently works at School of Arts Gent as internship coordinator in the film and animation film department and as ombudsperson and confidentiality advisor.
