Björn Doumen (Maaseik, °1978) studied speech therapy at the Ghent Arteveldehogeschool. Immediately after his graduation in 2002, he specialized as a voice therapist and articulation coach at the speech therapy department of the AZ Jan Palfijn hospital in Ghent. There he coaches singing and speaking voices of various kinds. He immersed himself in various voice and singing techniques and obtained the diploma of voice pedagogue in the Lichtenberger method in 2011. 

Since 2014 he has been teaching voice training at KASK Drama and later speech training. Björn is one of the voice and speech coaches for VRT and presenter at the radio station Klara.
