Graziano Moretto was born in Milan and graduated as a bassoon player at the Verdi Conservatory in his native town. The following year he completed his studies at the Musikhochschule in Munich. He was a member of the Bamberger Symphoniker, the Bayerisches Staatsorchester, the Münchener Philharmoniker, the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra and the Orchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. He worked with famous conductors such as Colin Davis, Sergiu Celibidache, Lorin Maazel, Georg Solti and Christoph Eschenbach. Since 1992 he has been part of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra as a bassoon solo.
