Jan is active as an illustrator since 1999 and has estabished his name in National and international publications and assignments. Although working on commercial assignments his work remains personal with its own private universe and aesthetics, so the drawings always have that extra touch, and a certain autonomy separate from the commission. He passes on his knowledge in the art of illustration to students at KASK & Conservatorium since 2010.
