Miguel Nicque (Temse, °1987) studied interior design at KASK in Ghent. In 2012, he completed his Master's degree in architecture at Delft University of Technology (NL). His thesis and master's thesis were completed within the master studio of the research-driven 'Explore Lab'. After his studies, he completed internships at several design firms such as ZUS (NL), Compagnie-O (BE), Lens°ass (BE) and XCOOP (NL).

Today, Miguel has his own design practice with a focus on renovations and biobased building. His architecture is characterised by light and spaciousness while respecting the existing context of each unique building. In addition to his design practice, he has been teaching as a practice lecturer in interior design at KASK & Conservatorium since 2016. Currently, Miguel is also acting head of department Architectural Design.
