Nathalie Posson received her master's degree in wood-furniture restoration and conservation from Artesis College in 1998, and immediately started her own business. Her clientele includes museums, churchwardens and private individuals. Since 2003 she has been teaching craft furniture techniques and wood and furniture restoration and conservation at KASK Antwerp ("Kunstambacht Hout-Meubel"), and since 2015 she has also been teaching materials science and Introduction to conservation and restoration in the graduating option of musical instrument making at KASK & Conservatorium.

She chose her profession because of the combination of practical and studio work, and the range of supporting sciences and theoretical subjects. Teaching adds another exciting dimension to all this.
