Raf Enckels is an experienced sound designer and mixer for film and television. As well as creating soundtracks for films, he also composes sound for installations, performances and theatre, and produces his own podcasts.
He has extensive experience in sound recording and immersive sound mixing. He attaches great importance to the character of the recording itself and to the exploration of sound as part of an artistic work.
Raf works as a sound lecturer in the film programme and coordinates the sound studio Herculeslab, a meeting place centred on listening and immersive sound. He was also co-coordinator of the EPAS postgraduate programme, Arts in Sound.
