Reinhard Vanbergen graduated as Master of Music with high distinction in 2001 as a jazz violinist. That same year, he won Humo's rock rally with Das Pop. For the first part of his career, Das Pop was his main occupation, but soon he was asked to produce bands. He learned the technique by doing. In 2013, producing, arranging and composing became his main occupation, playing live with The Happy, Novastar, Rheinzand, Hercules & Love Affair and working on films, series and short films. In 2013, he started teaching at KASK & Conservatorium.

In 2020, he released a first solo album on Danish label Music For Dreams, after which 23 more albums followed. During his career, Vanbergen collected numerous string instruments, which he also learned to play. Besides violin, he also plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, pedal steel, lap steel, ukulele, charango, tenor violin, viola and chin-cello.
