imaginary landscape

The bachelor of landscape and garden architecture students were asked to create a spatial composition on the theme 'Imaginary landscape' for the design and shape course. Attention had to be paid to the placing of volumes or masses opposite each other and to the space created between or within the volumes. Seven cubes of identical dimensions were also expected to be used. Adding trees or multi-stems creates scale and gives the models the character of an imaginary landscape or garden.

Some selected maquettes can be admired in the Kunstenbibliotheek.
