In 'The Cost of Living', Anaïs Maes, Manizja Kouhestani, Leila Benchorf and Mira Cole delve into an absurd dream world, where our visual culture translates into a motley collection of colourful characters. During a game show, they wander through the maze of growing up. There, they are confronted with the loss of their childlike innocence. The deepest desires and fears hidden beneath the surface are exposed. Each choice brings a new challenge and with each round the stakes get higher.
