German cellist Judith Ermert's career began at an early age. She was solo cellist of the Jeunesse Musicales World Orchestra with concerts in the Berlin Philharmonic, among others, and since her youth she has performed regularly as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Kammerphilharmonie Danzig, Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim, Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha, ... Judith Ermert studied at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen and then perfected in Ralph Kirshbaum's prestigious class at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Judith Ermert has an international career as a soloist and chamber musician. At the age of 26, Judith Ermert was appointed solo cello of Brussels Philharmonic. She also gives master classes all over the world and is also highly dedicated to Lars Vogt's initiation 'Rhapsody in School'. In 2013, she released her first Hindemith CD together with Belgian pianist Daan Vandewalle ( at Fuga Libera) , a recording that received an excellent international reception.

The cellist was vice-president of ESTA Flanders for many years and since 2016 she has been on the artistic board of the ESTA Talent Foundation.
