Raf Schoenmaekers (°1971) graduated as a civil engineer in computer science. Facinated by not only the technical but also creative and artistic possibilities of film and animation, he started a professional career in animation, motion-graphics, post-production and interactive applications in 1995. With the experience he gained next to directors and artists in hundreds of commercial and artistic projects such as short and feature films, he has been standing, with lasting amazement, next to artists in the making at KASK & Conservatorium (animation film) since 2005."
