Among other things, the sound laboratory has a low-noise recording room, measuring microphones, analysis equipment, a multi-channel oscilloscope, Labview, various sensors, basic electronics equipment and microprocessors.

The infrastructure is also used for the acoustics course and is also an important part of the equipment for the instrument construction course. Especially in the construction and development of new experimental instruments, the lab has proved indispensable. Knowing by measuring is the motto.

The lab is located in the building on Nederpolder, which also houses the instrument building workshops.
