Benjamin Verhoeven (born in 1990, Belgium) is a visual artist based in Brussels, Belgium. In 2013, he received his Master of Fine Arts at KASK & Conservatorium, and since 2015, he has been a laureate at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK). 

Verhoeven's work explores the image as a medium and its (re)production, utilizing audiovisual apparatuses as his primary tools. In his ongoing project "Scanning Cinema" he deals with the action of scanning moving images and reintegrating them into animated video works. In 2020, he began collaborating with Moroccan artist Amine Lahrach, leading to the formation of a duo.  

Verhoeven has participated in various national and international exhibitions, including at KANAL (Belgium), Mu:ZEE (Belgium), Cinematek (Belgium), University Art Gallery Irvine (USA), 6th Moscow Biennale (Russia) and Bienalsur (Argentina). 

His video work has been screened at film festivals such as Experiments in Cinema (USA), Traverse Vidéo (France), Stuttgarter Filmwinter (Germany), European Media Arts Festival (Germany), Videoformes (France), and Limited-Acces Festival (Iran).
