Jurgen Maelfeyt is creative director and founder of Art Paper Editions (APE), an independent publisher based in Europe and MONOGRAM, a creative studio based in Paris. 

APE participates in the most important art book fairs worldwide: New York Art Book Fair, LA Art Book Fair, Offprint Paris, Offprint London, Unseen Amsterdam, Tokyo Art Book Fair.  

Several publications have been nominated for international book awards (Paris Photo Aperture Photobook Awards, Les Recontres d’Arles Prix du Livre, Photo Espana,...). In 2016 APE won the award for best Photobook at Les Recontres d’Arles and had a special mention in the Best Book Design from all over the World competition. Many of the publications are acquired by institutional libraries such as Moma, Centre Pompidou and Macba amongst others.
