Liene Aerts was coordinator of visual arts projects and art collection manager at KASK & Conservatorium from 2009 to 2025. For the first ten years, she was part of KIOSK, where she was responsible for public relations, press and editorial work. In 2019, she launched BOEKS, an experimental exhibition platform for books housed in a 15th-century cloister that connects the Kunstenbibliotheek with the STAM city museum. In addition, she worked as a freelancer writing texts, creating books and exhibitions.
