Register and follow these steps
Anyone wishing to enrol in a bachelor's programme must have obtained at least a Flemish diploma of secondary education or HBO5. One can also enrol directly with a Dutch VWO diploma and MBO level 4 or with a ‘Propedeuse’.
Those wishing to enrol in a graduate programme can do so with one of the diplomas listed above but also with a certificate of the second year of third grade BSO obtained at least 3 years ago or with a Dutch HAVO diploma.
Students with another (foreign) secondary school diploma may enrol if their diploma provides access to the university in the country of their diploma and if they meet the language requirements included in the HOWEST Education and Exam regulations. In this case, one should apply for admission with a foreign diploma .
Those who do not meet these requirements will still have the opportunity to enrol via an admission examination. There are special procedures for the admission examination.
