Master students choose theoretical master's seminars at the start of a new academic year. You submit your preferences via an online form from Saturday 21 September 2024 9:00 a.m. to Sunday 22 September 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the deadline. If you register later, you can only include seminars that have not yet started and still have available places.

- Read the brochure carefully and indicate the seminars that appeal to you.
When making your choice, take sufficient account of the timetable and avoid that your seminars overlap with other courses. Attendance is mandatory.
Make sure you indicate more seminars than you are required to take. After all, you can only pass on a series of preferences for seminars. Taking everyone's preferences into account as best as possible, you will then be assigned to the required number of seminars. Of your preferences, you can indicate one seminar that you would like to attend most of all. Please note: this does not guarantee that you will be assigned that seminar!
- Fill in the form. A confirmation of your registration will appear on the screen.
- Check the overview of participants per seminar on Sunday evening, September 22 at 9:00 p.m. There you can see which theoretical master seminars have been assigned to you. If changes occur, there will be a regular update. The changes to your Asimut account will follow later. So be sure to look at the general overview to know which seminars you should attend.
It is not possible to ask a seminar tutor directly for admission to a seminar! Each request is handled by the coordinator of the theoretical master seminars.
We are happy to help! As a student at KASK & Conservatorium, you need a laptop for many programmes. You are free to choose a particular device. Some programmes have a tradition of working more with Apple or PC, so it is best to check with the programme in advance.
Laptop project AcademicShop and CampusShop
HOGENT runs a laptop project for PC laptops in collaboration with AcademicShop and CampusShop. The main difference between the two providers is support and warranty. That difference also explains the difference in price, besides the different technical specifications. Both financial settlement of the purchase and after-sales service are done directly with the companies. Read more about the laptop project on Wallie (HOGENT intranet).
No one is obliged to purchase a device through the laptop project. It is a no-obligation offer. Do you already have a laptop and doubt whether it is sufficient for use during your programme? Contact the training coordinator or ask our ICT Support Centre at steunpuntict@hogent.be. Bear in mind that you may need to purchase a different or more powerful device later in your programme.
Discounts at Lab9
HOGENT does not have a specific offer for Apple devices, but as a student you will get a standard student discount at Lab9.
