Ruben Joye (Ghent, °1985) completed his education in landscape and garden architecture at HOGENT followed by a specialization in landscape development. In 2010, he obtained his Master's degree in Urbanism and Spatial Planning from LUCA School of Arts. 

As a co-founder and board member of Blikveld VZW, the Dutch-speaking professional association for landscape architecture in Flanders and Brussels, he actively contributes to the promotion and further professionalization of the field. 

Within the landscape and garden Architecture program, Ruben serves as a full-time lecturer. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he holds various coordinating roles, including year coordinator for the second year of the bachelor's program, coordinator of internships, and serves as the contact point for internationalization within the program.
