Slip into a disturbing journey that explores our nocturnal party tropes and loves. Fifteen young dancers from different corners of the world are on tour with Crowd, choreographer Gisèle Vienne's epic work about 90s techno rave. From theatre to theatre, the rehearsal process transforms into strange, intimate relationships. As the dancers physically surrender to the trance-like beats, personal stories and desires unravel in front of the camera, blurring the boundaries between reality and performance.

Austrian filmmaker Patric Chiha exposes the inner tensions and connections within a dance group in Si c'était l'amour. He explores how the repetitive, physical work of dance transitions into a collective investigation into the deeper emotional layers of existence. This recent documentary is visually hypnotic, focusing on both the beauty of the fragile moving body and the complex group energy.

This film will be introduced by theatre scholar Elias D'Hollander.
