GANG
GANG is a space that is wide open to proposals that celebrate the “unfinished”. It is a room where the process is shown rather than the result. GANG is for trial and error, experimentation, and never-ending conversation.
GANG is located on the first floor of the Marissal building. It is an open space where teachers and students dare to give presentations and tests, share half-baked ideas, give lectures, have chats and discuss concepts that have not yet been fully developed. A lab where nothing is mandatory and everything is possible.
FAILURE SESSIONS
Every first Tuesday of the month, 18:00-19:00
Creation takes time. Few artists follow a linear path from idea to execution. That non-linear, often chaotic process of detours, inspiration, disappointment, bizarre choices, eternal doubt and outright failure is perhaps crucial. At GANG, on the first Tuesday of every month, we want to give a visual artist + lecturer and/or researcher at KASK & Conservatorium the opportunity to talk about precisely this: creating and trying.
Every first Wednesday of the month, 12:30-13:30
Bring your lunch. We will eat our sandwiches together while a KASK photography alumnus tells us more about their own work, their path, their creative process, curators, the commercial circuit, the photobook, a structural problem or the latest project they are working on. The alumnus chooses the theme and the audience joins in the conversation with their mouths full. Everyone is welcome!
